Our grey slate house name signs are made with natural slate. Each piece of slate has it own markings and grain - each sign is individual. If you prefer a uniform grey material we suggest slate effect corian . The slate thickness is 10-15mm . We also do a thicker slate and larger signs if required. Your Choices

Fonts - We are able to use most common fonts to be found on a PC, along with a wide selection of more unusual ones. - Click here to see examples

Images - If you require images please use - Made to Measure Slate Signs

Letter Colours - Gold, Silver, Black and White. Also - ivory, salmon pink, purple, emerald green, dark and mid blue. We can also blast the background away leaving letters raised and unpainted. For this technique we must use bold fonts without any fine lines.

Borders - Line border with indented corners or square , Border in relief where the outer edge is blasted away

Holes - We can drill holes in the sign for you - 2 for a sign 100mm high, 4 for larger signs. Alternatively you could use one of the many adhesives on the market. We have found CT1 or Power Grad n Bond to be very effective. If you can't find locally we can supply . (lasts for up to a year in the tube for other fixing jobs)

The exact letter height and length depends on the wording, the font, borders and whether or not holes are to be drilled. Each sign is individually designed to be pleasing to the eye. If you wish to specify exact sizes, letter height or layout details please use Made to Measure Slate Signs
