Sandblasted Oak and Slate House Signs
Designs for wooden and slate house signs are created on a computer. This prides plenty of choice for using different fonts and layout and even simple images.
The artwork is then cut out on thick rubber stencils which are applied to the wood or slate.
The letters or the background are then sand blasted out. The letters are usually painted, apart from raised and unpainted slate where the background has been blasted away. The sign is then finished appropriately. |
