Large signs can be produced using the sand carving method. A large number of fonts can be used and logos can also be included. These large signs are made from substancial timber. The planks of solid timber are planed down to 1 inch - 1.5 inch depending on the size of the sign. 9" and 12" boards are quartersawn for stability.

Laminated Westen Red Cedar with a high quality vertical grain - just over 1.5inches thick. Signs available up to 36 inches x 71inches

The background can be treated for a rich finish or left untreated to weather to a beautiful silver grey colour.

 This farm sign has been made using signs from our oak range. The farm name is carved in 6 inch oak in Style L. The information signs below it are made in 4 inch oak in Style J. 3"x3" posts and fixings can be supplied if required.

Our individually made large signs and house signs are made from the finest Air Dried English Oak. This is a timber known for its beauty and durability. A piece of oak can last for hundreds of years and with a little care our signs will certainly last a lifetime.

The signs are finished with 3 coats of danish oil or outdoor varnish.
